I created this blog to highlight my mother Caren Meek and all of her projects. She is constantly working on something whether it be knitting, crochetting, cooking or sewing. I believe it is physically impossible for her to sit on the couch and watch t.v. without working on a project. She is an amazing woman with many talents.

The following blankets were made by mom's knit/crochet club. All to donate in October to the military base through the American Legion for families of soldiers.

"She was an American girl"

For the christmas bazaar this year, my mother and a friend of hers are getting together and selling american girl doll outfits. Mom has taken it on to knitting doll sweaters, socks, mittens and hats. So far, she has two sweaters and a hat. here are a few photos I took today of what she has. The doll's hair was wild, so I braided it up. THAT was a task...

Mom just finished putting the buttons on this beautiful sweater. It is for a mutual love of ours. :)
The buttons are so lovely.

Mom finished up another blanket to donate to the christmas bazaar this December. I love this one. The blue is just excellent!

Momma made a few soakers for upcoming grandson Archie. He should be here in four days (or less)!!!
I didn't get a picture of all the soakers, but this one is cute anyway. There were grey ones, green and multicolored. So cool!
