For the christmas bazaar this year, my mother and a friend of hers are getting together and selling american girl doll outfits. Mom has taken it on to knitting doll sweaters, socks, mittens and hats. So far, she has two sweaters and a hat. here are a few photos I took today of what she has. The doll's hair was wild, so I braided it up. THAT was a task...
I created this blog to highlight my mother Caren Meek and all of her projects. She is constantly working on something whether it be knitting, crochetting, cooking or sewing. I believe it is physically impossible for her to sit on the couch and watch t.v. without working on a project. She is an amazing woman with many talents.

Soakers
Momma made a few soakers for upcoming grandson Archie. He should be here in four days (or less)!!!
I didn't get a picture of all the soakers, but this one is cute anyway. There were grey ones, green and multicolored. So cool!

May progress
Mom just finished up these peach colored socks for herself.

Mom taught a few ladies at the Senior Center how to put afghans together, so this is one that few ladies are working on together. One lady makes the squares, and the other puts them together with the black yarn.

Mom is working on this afghan probably for a donation to a Fourth of July Raffle at the center. Or just to donate to the Veterans.
