I created this blog to highlight my mother Caren Meek and all of her projects. She is constantly working on something whether it be knitting, crochetting, cooking or sewing. I believe it is physically impossible for her to sit on the couch and watch t.v. without working on a project. She is an amazing woman with many talents.

Mom is making at least 3 pair of these kneehigh socks for Clem. This is pair number 2. She ran out of/can't find the yarn for the second sock of the 3rd pair. She'll probably find some tomorrow.
Mom used the kitchener stitch again! It's been a while. She finished up some green socks today that fit her rather nicely. Not to mention, her ability to match the stripes on self striping yarn is magical.
Brother and family are really into the Seattle Sounders, so mom decided that the three of them needed really super cute matching family hats to wear in Sounders colors. I can hardly wait to see these in action!
When mom broke her leg in April, Aunt Connie's friend loaned her a walker to use, which was a BIG help. This is the shawl that mom made and sent off in the mail to the wonderful woman to thank her for the use of the walker. Isn't it just beautiful?!
