Brother and family are really into the Seattle Sounders, so mom decided that the three of them needed really super cute matching family hats to wear in Sounders colors.

I can hardly wait to see these in action!

Prayer Shawl

When mom broke her leg in April, Aunt Connie's friend loaned her a walker to use, which was a BIG help.
This is the shawl that mom made and sent off in the mail to the wonderful woman to thank her for the use of the walker.

Mom finished up one christmas stocking.

It Takes All Kinds

Yarn Therapy's first Veterans donation blanket!

A number of the ladies in our Yarn Therapy group helped make this afghan by making 7 by 9 inch squares. Mom collected the squares and crocheted them together. Each afghan takes 49 squares (rectangles really). 7 squares down and 7 across. Easy, fun and beautiful afghans are the result.
I think we almost have enough for a second one to go together.

As you can see, it takes all kinds of patterns and yarns and skill levels. ANYTHING can and WILL go into these afghans. That's the beauty of it. Everyone in the group can contribute and feel accomplished.
